Services now closed for referrals

As of last month, Together For You can no longer take referrals for services. Please find out further information below:

The Together For You project successfully reached over 52,000 beneficiaries over the life of the project, however due to the end of funding can no longer accept referrals. The partner organisations however will continue to deliver other services which may be of use to those experiencing mental ill-health under different funding arrangements.  Please find the latest signposting information on other relevant services below:

Befriending – Praxis Care are advising people to speak to their CPN or social worker about other local befriending services in their local area.

Bereavement Support – Cruse Bereavement Care continue to offer one to one support for those who have been bereaved.  Call 028 9079 2419

CBT Counselling – Praxis Care are advising people to visit their GP in order to access this counselling via their Health and Social Care Trust.

Individual and Family Counselling – Relate NI continue to offer relationship counselling, however this may be chargeable to the individual.  Call 9032 3454.

Specialist Trauma Counselling for survivors of sexual violence or abuse – Nexus NI continue to offer support to victims and survivors of sexual violence.  Call 028 9032 6803

Carer Support  - CAUSE continue to offer support to those caring for people with severe mental ill-health including advocacy services.  Call 028 9065 0650.

Mental Health Awareness Sessions via Action Mental Health will continue to deliver to post primary school settings and key contacts of young people in Northern, South Eastern, Belfast and Western Trust areas.  This also includes access to their latest MindSet training. Call 028 6632 3630 for further information.

Living Life to the Full and Mood Matters Programmes – will continue to be delivered by Aware 028 9035 7820.

Support for LGB&T - Through the Together For You project, The Rainbow Project established four social support groups in rural areas (Ballymena, Enniskillen, Omagh and Newry).  With support from volunteers, these groups will continue to meet regularly.  For further information or additional LGB&T support contact The Rainbow Project on 028 9031 9030.
