Looking for beneficiaries of Together For You

Together For You are looking for those who have benefited from any of the services offered under the project, to provide feedback and steer future mental health service delivery.

Have you benefited from any of the Together For You services over the past year and a half?  Would you be interested in taking part in meetings to help provide feedback and support to future mental health services delivered in Northern Ireland? 

If the answer is yes, please see the below role description to become a Volunteer Beneficiary.  

VOLUNTEER ROLE DESCRIPTION 

ROLE TITLE                     Together For You Volunteer Beneficiary

LOCATION                       Regional

HOURS                            Various

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

To inform the planning and development processes of Together For You and/or participate in the management structures of the project through the Project Advisory Group.

 

MAIN DUTIES

  • To attend and participate in the beneficiary group meetings as required
  • To share ideas and experiences which may help shape and develop the Together For You project.
  • To attend and participate in relevant project working groups and events including shared learning days.
  • To share personal experiences of accessing TFY services/act as a spokesperson for the project

ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

          Essential

          Good communication and interpersonal skills

          Good time keeping

          Interest in participating in committees

          Desirable

          Previous experience of participating on committees

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Anyone wishing to become a beneficiary Volunteer with Together For You will be required to participate in the Together For You volunteer programme.  All travel expenses will be covered by the volunteer programme. 

SELECTION

Together For You Volunteer applicants will be inducted via the Together For You volunteer programme.  They will be interviewed by the Volunteer Co-ordinator and the Service Team Leader.
