Compassion Fatigue Training from CAUSE

14 May 2015

CAUSE is delivering a series of one day Compassion Fatigue workshops over the next few months in Armagh, Belfast and Enniskillen.

These courses are for anyone caring for someone with a serious mental illness who needs help to develop their knowledge and skills to create a programme of self- care to avoid burnout.

Caring imposes heavy demands and while helping to understand what compassion fatigue is and how to avoid it, the day also looks at practical and proven strategies that you as a carer can use.

Feedback from previous courses emphasised the usefulness of sharing ideas, dealing with stress and how the training has left them feeling empowered and invigorated.
